On My Own Michigan: FREE! Virtual Bingo Night, followed by an informational meeting- 11/13 6-7pm

On My Own of Michigan is offering a free virtual bingo night for individuals with developmental disabilities who are considering joining our community and are interested in exploring if On My Own is right for them. Following bingo, we will have a virtual On My Own of Michigan informational meeting in order to provide information regarding our programs and supports:


 

New Blog to Follow: Embracing My Superpower, by BHS alumni, Kailey Egrin!

Kailey Egrin graduated from Berkley High School in 2019 and today she is a college student at Oakland Community College. Kailey was highlighted in the Woodward Talk in February 2017 & June 2019 for her story of being a young woman/student with Autism.  Kaily is an inspiration!  She has a strong voice- and she's using it in her new blog: EMBRACING MY SUPERPOWERS!

Youth Led Community Forum: Impact of COVID19 on Youth with Disabilities 5/28 @2pm

Join the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL) for a youth-led panel discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on youth with disabilities on Thursday, May 28, 2020, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Youth with disabilities from across the country will talk about the impact the current pande​​mic has had on their lives, communities, and access to supports to ensure that they can continue to thrive.
