The Berkley PAC presents the Trust and Guardianship Workshop, featuring Shannon DeWall, a Michigan attorney who specializes in wills, trusts, special needs planning, and elder care. In the Trust and Guardianship Workshop, parents of children with special needs can learn about government programs, guardianship and alternatives, wills and trusts, and the Michigan Able Account.
2019 NDSS Down Syndrome Adult Summit, April 4th-6th 2019
Following the success of the 2018 NDSS Down Syndrome Adult Summit, hosted by NDSS and its Self-Advocate Advisory Board (SAAB) in collaboration with the National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices (the “NTG”) and the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) to discuss important and critical topics for all adults with Down syndrome, we are pleased to announce the 2019 NDSS Down Syndrome Adult Summit coming to Detroit, Michigan April 4 – 6, 2019. The summit will be hosted at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
The 2019 NDSS Down Syndrome Adult Summit is open to all individuals who play any role in the life of individuals with Down syndrome with a specific focus on caregivers, family members, professionals, and individuals with Down syndrome.
