Celebrate with friends as 2013 comes to an end!
The Oakland County Parks and Recreation Adaptive Recreation staff invites individuals with disabilities and their families and friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve early! The evening includes pizza, music and dancing. Participants ages 18 and older may choose one of two dates to celebrate:Almost New Year’s North is on Friday, Dec. 27 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Waterford Oaks Activity CenterAlmost New Year’s South is on Monday, Dec. 30 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Royal Oak Senior CenterParticipants must pre-register for either event. Cost is $9/person if registered by Dec. 18; $11/person if registered after Dec. 19. Chaperones pay the same price. Access the mail-in registration form here.The Waterford Oaks Activity Center is at 2800 Watkins Lake Road in Waterford.The Royal Oak Senior Center is located at 3500 Marais (off 13 Mile Road, between Main and Crooks Roads) in Royal Oak.
